![]() ![]() Plus can't beat the lifetime warranty on Xikar products. Love the Xikar MTX tool been using that a lot lately and the carbon fiber X2 or X3 I believe as well. Just now need the cutter to match filigree Venetian pattern Zippo.,gotta match everything up maybe a OCD thing! Lolol I already have the Xikar carbon fiber cutter to match my Xikar Forte Carbon Fiber Lighter. I'd like to get a cigar cutter with that brass/goldfish pattern to match it. I also have the zippo in filigree engraved pattern I think it's all brass or atleast the site now says brass. Anyone here use a zippo lighter torch insert to light stogies with? If so what are your thoughts on the inserts? There may be some brands I don't know of maybe youz can shed some light on this. I hear good and bad things on the inserts so I been hesitant to buy one let alone what brand. I may change it up I don't know thought about a torch insert anyway for the Zippo. I'll use zippo for my Italian sticks and the Xiker for other cigars. I just let it burn a bit before lighting sticks and toast a bit away from the flame I have not got any bad taste or aroma so far. well I know I'm gonna catch a lot of flak for saying this lol I been using that to light my stogies so far. The body of each cutter is made of a lightweight but sturdy aluminum alloy. While the first two retail for $159.99 each, the limited-edition rose gold cutter will retail for $249.99. The Xikar Revolution cutters come in three different colors: black with silver blades, silver with black blades and a limited-edition version with black blades and a rose gold finish. In keeping with the trend of thick ring smokes, the cutters accept cigars of up to 70 ring gauge. Once inserted, turn the wheel to the right and the two spring-assisted blades move in sync to slice the head off of your cigar.Ī hole at the base allows you to insert your ring finger or pinky to stabilize the cutter. When you turn the wheel to the left, the synchronized blades open, which allows you to insert your cigar. Instead, a rotary-action wheel around the unit turns the blade like a steering wheel, with grooves for your fingers to grip. The name “Revolution” refers not only to the cutter’s movement, but also to a design aspect that differs from standard Xikar cutters: the absence of a button used to engage the blades. Called the Revolution, the cutter was previewed at the PCA trade show in Las Vegas, and is expected to start shipping to retailers later this month. Accessories company Xikar brings a novel mechanical concept to the world of cigar cutters, and the new model only requires a simple flick of the wrist to operate. ![]()
